Steps and Conditions of Demolish and Rebuild a Masjid Demolishing:
1.The donator or the owner of the property sends a letter to the Department informing them with his intention to demolish and rebuild the Masjid.
2.The donator pledges to demolish and rebuild the Masjid without changing the name of it, and to submit it with the Waqf appended to it to the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department.
3.Specifying enough time for the demolishing process in order to Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation notify the lessee by an official letter to leave the shops with giving them enough time for leaving.
4.Sending a letter to the Islamic Affairs Department to transfer the Masjid’ personnel or supplying caravans as a temporal residence for them
5.Sending a letter the concerned body to sell the fixed properties or transfer them to Masjid’s Affairs and maintenance Department in Al-Qusais.
6.Sending a letter to Dubai Electricity and Water Authority to cut off the services.
7.Sending a letter to the concerned body to set on temporal caravans, Masjid, toilets, Ablution place, and Imam residence (if necessary).
8.Paying last electricity and water bill of Masjid and its appended residences.
9.Sending a letter to DEWA to connect the caravans with electricity temporally.
10.Sending a letter to Dubai Municipality for a permission to demolish the MAsjid and its appendages.
11.Sending a notification letter of the demolish to the Director General and a copy for Masjid Affairs Section.
12.Sending a letter to notify the Public Relation.
13.Any other documents required by the Department
Rebuilding:
1-A copy of the passport of the donator for building
2-Sending a notification letter to the Department of the rebuilding according to the Department’s procedures and conditions.
3-the information of the donator, the consultant, and the contractor (address, telephone No., fax No., Mobile No., e-mail address)
4-The site information after assignation (a copy of the site’s map must be attached).
5-The primary drawings of the project.
6-Assigning a consultant to examine the drawings.
7-The final drawings approved by the Municipality.
8-A building contract between the donator and the consultant, and the contractor must be specified.
9-The building license from the Municipality.
10-A letter to DEWA to connect the services.
11-The execution certificate from the Municipality.
12-Masjid’s Supervision and Monitoring document .
