O Muslims: Performing the daily prayers in congregation has immense merit and reward, Abu Huraira reported that: the Messenger of God said: “a man’s prayer in congregation has 27 times more reward than his prayer at home, if he does his ablution well, then leaves for the mosque while his only purpose for going out is the prayer, his every step will elevate him one degree, and cause a sin to fall away from him, and when he prays the angels while not cease to send blessings upon him while he prays O God bless him O God have mercy upon him, and each of you is in prayer as long as he waits expectantly for the prayer” .

O believers: the Messenger of God gave those who walk to the mosque glad tidings of receiving an award for each step, being elevated one degree for each step, and having a wrong action removed for every step, Abu Huraira reported that: the Messenger of God said: “should I tell about something through which God will wipe away sins and elevate degrees?”, they said: “yes O Messenger of God ”, he said: “doing ablution properly upon the limbs taking many steps to the mosque and awaiting one prayer after another for that is al-Ribat/vigilance ” .

The Messenger of God is also reported to have said: “the people who receive the most immense reward for the prayers are those who walk the furthest” , he also gave them glad tidings of having perfect light on the Day of Judgment when he said: “give glad tidings to those who walk to the mosque in the dark of perfect light on the Day of Judgment” . The Messenger of God also said: “whoever worships God in congregation for forty days joining the prayer in the Takbir of Ihram will have two exonerations written for him; an exoneration from the fire, and an exoneration from hypocrisy” .

A good upbringing is one of the best things a parent can give their children, and a part of a good upbringing is to get them used to prayer from when they are young, Luqman the Wise advised his son saying: O my son! establish regular prayer) , the Messenger of God said: “enjoin your children to pray from the age of seven” .

A man should look out for his family when it comes to prayer, this is the character of the Prophets of God peace be upon them all, God praised the Prophet Ishmael for this when God revealed: Also mention in the Book (the story of) Isma''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''il: He was (strictly) true to what he promised, and he was an apostle (and) a prophet. He used to enjoin on his people Prayer and Charity, and he was most acceptable in the sight of his Lord.) , God also revealed: Enjoin prayer on thy people, and be constant therein.

We ask thee not to provide sustenance: We provide it for thee. But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for righteousness.) . O God allow us to be constant in praying in the mosques and make us among those who fill the mosques, and make us amongst Your righteous servants, by Your Mercy O Most Merciful of the merciful.
