IACAD Organizes a Course in Auditing for Charitable Associations

Charitable Institutions Department in Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has organized a financial course entitled “Financial Management for Charitable Associations” in Princess Haya Bint Al-Hussain’s Cultural Islamic Centers- Mezher branch. The course was executed by Mohammed Mursi, senior auditor in Islamic and Charitable Institutions Supervision Office. The course was attended by quite a few accountants and financial specialists, in addition to some of strategic partners.
Jum’ah Obaid Al Falasi, Assistant Director-General for Charitable Activities Sector, said that the course came in line with the collaboration that is between the department and the licensed charitable associations in Dubai.

Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Head of Charitable Institutions Department, said: “The lecturer talked about the laws and the regulations that control the relation between the department and the Islamic institutions in Dubai. He focused mostly on the law No. (2) for year 2011 of H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. He also talked about the suggested alterations to accreditation law, about financial auditing and performance evaluation in charitable associations, and about some other topics related to auditing.
