Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai is hosting eleven of the well-known Qur’an reciters in the Arab world during the month of Ramadan in Al Farouq Omar Bin Al Khattab Masjid in Al Safa (1).
Dr. Hamad Bin Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, Director-General of the Department, said: “The Department has hosted, since its establishment, some of the famous reciters of the Holy Qur’an in the Arab world to maintain the Sunnah of the prophet concerning Taraweeh prayer, to share the society its celebration of Ramadan by organizing lectures, religious lessons, and reciting the holy Qur’an.”
Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, Head of Direction and Guidance Department announced the schedule of the reciters as follows:
Sheikh Khalifah Al Teneiji, on the  1st and the 2nd of Ramadan; Sheikh Adel Rayyan, on the 3rd and the 4th of Ramadan; Sheikh Edris Abkar, on the 5th and the 6th of Ramadan; Sheikh Saad Al Ghamdi, from the 7th to the 9th of Ramadan; Sheikh Majid AL Enezi, from the  10th to the 12th of Ramadan; Sheikh Abu Bakr Al Shateri, from the 13th to the 15th of Ramadan; Sheikh Mohammed Al Oraifi, on 16th of Ramadan; Sheikh Mansour Al Zahrani, from the 17th to the 19th of Ramadan; Sheikh Abdul-Majeed Al Arkani, from the 20th to the 23rd of Ramadan; Sheikh Ibrahim Al Mansouri, from the 24th to 25th of Ramadan; and Sheikh Mohammed Mubarak, from 26th to 29th of Ramadan
