Organized by IACAD, Edification and Religious Guidance Department in cooperation with its strategic partners, two Islamic lectures on the fast events within the Global Islamic Culture Project (My Islam My Identity) during Ramadan.
Aisha Al Kash, Head of Edification And Religious Guidance Department, said that the two lectures have been implemented in latifa hospital in the context of focusing on the two categories of patients and staff, represented their objective definition of the importance and status of tolerance and forgiveness during the holy month of all members of the community, as well as the definition of fasting and objectives which is force for the nation of prophet Muhammad (Peace & Prayers Be Upon Him).
Iman Ismail, Executive in Edification and Religious Guidance Department said that the first lecture carried the slogan: forgiveness and tolerance, allocated to the category of Latifa Hospital’s staff, speech by Ibrahim Abdel Al-Obeidi, a researcher at the Research Department, where he highlighted on the importance of the holy month. He explained that the most important values that work to connect people with each other and disclose their peace is the value of tolerance and forgiveness because they are the slogan of every Muslim.
Mrs. Iman also reported that Dr. Abdel-Halim Ibrahim Hassan, a great preacher in Direction and Guidance Department gave a lecture under the title: Kattouf Ramadan, targeting Latifa Hospital’s patients and clinics about the importance of holy month and licenses granted by The Lord Almighty and Exalted, not to fast for the elderly, the weak, sick, pregnant women who are afraid their children from the hardship of fasting .And other cases where people not to fast is permissible in Ramadan.At the end of the lecture the lecturer answered the audience questions, which focused on the fasting and his belongings.
