Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department announced that it is going to distribute 100,000 Hijri calendar for the New Year, 1441, a calendar that dates back to the era of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, May Allah be merciful to him, to set the date of the government register.
The Hijri calendar is made and edited by a group of specialists in IACAD, to set prayer times for the mosques of Dubai city and its environs, such as Hatta, Al-Hibab, Al-Lisaili, Mirghem, Marqab, Al-Faqaa, through the year of 1441, (2019-2020).
The Hijri calendar also presents a set of important dates for the Muslims such as the date of the first day of the Hijri New Year, the day of Ashura, the date of the Prophet's birthday, the date of Ramadan, the date of the first day of Eid al-Fitr, and the date of the beginning of Eid al-Adha.
Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department hopes that the new Hijri year will be a good year and a blessing to all.
