In line with its commitment to raise awareness and its mission to highlight moderation and fairness, Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) announced it has provided 642 consultations for social cases in the emirate of Dubai in the third quarter of 2019.
IACAD’s Department of Islamic Education and Religious Guidance managed the consultations in coordination with the Ministry of Community Development, Community Development Authority, Dubai Courts and Dubai Public Prosecution.
Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Head of the Department of Religious Guidance in the Department of Islamic Education and Religious Guidance, reiterated the Department’s keenness to provide public services and consultations that support family stability. It does so in cooperation with relevant government entities through specialised consultants employed by IACAD.
Al Mansouri said: “These efforts are part of IACAD’s commitment to raise community awareness and spread positivity, in order to build a resilient society that can handle the challenges of daily life based on standards set by Islamic Sharia, the Holy Quran and Sunnah.”
IACAD’s consultations help solve cases of social problems and challenges, including behavioral, educational and those related to family matters. Furthermore, it provides consultations related to marital issues, family custody and reform, divorce, as well as the causes and effects of the latter.
IACAD provides religious, social, and scientific consultations throughout the year, through face-to-face meetings, telephone conversations, arbitration sessions and through the IACAD website.
