As a commitment from the Department of Maktoum Centers for Memorizing the Holy Quran, of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, to take all precautionary and preventive measures to contain coronavirus. Under the directives of His Excellency Dr. Hamad Sheikh Ahmed Al-Shaibani, Director General of IACAD, the Centers Administration has announced the continuity of its various classes and programs for memorizing the Qur’an "remotely" using the latest technologies.
Maktoum Centers administration has Emphasized that the directives of the Director General and the follow-up of Dr. Omar Al-Khatib, Executive Director of the Islamic Affairs Sector, have proven how efficient IACAD’s techniques are in order to achieve the best results by ensuring the education for all citizens and residents.
The Maktoum Centers, in full coordination with IACAD’s Information Technology Department and Human Resources Department, have launched the service "Teaching and Memorizing the Qur'an remotely" using the "Team" program from Microsoft. More than 76 classes for males and 165 classes for females were activated on a daily basis with a follow-up of the directors of the Maktoum centers. The administration also continued its weekly program “the Quranic Day” episodes, which falls every Saturday morning in all areas of Dubai.
