The Mohammed bin Rashid Islamic Culture Center of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai organized an online intensive summer course for children, in which more than 200 children, boys and girls of different nationalities residing in Dubai had joined.

The course aimed at achieving the center’s strategic vision by spreading awareness and introducing Islamic culture and tolerance among the communities. 9 cooperating teachers and teachers presented the course in English, Urdu and Arabic.

Hind Muhammad Lootah, Director of the Center, stated that the course achieved positive, tangible results with the presence of more than 200 children, as the course was based on educational and entertaining packages in a fun and interactive ways.

Shamsa Muhammad bin Shafi`, Head of the Student Affairs section, indicated that the course included memorizing and reciting short Surah in the Holy Qur’an, teaching the rules of Quran and its interpretation. Bin Shafi explained that the course dealt with aspects of Islamic culture such as introducing Islamic etiquette, prayer and a group of different topics.

Head of the Student Affairs section said that the course included different workshops such as writing, public speaking, drawing, cooking, Arabic calligraphy, how to make flowers, as well as providing participants with a set of ideas for agriculture and digital advertisements.
