His Excellency Hamad Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, expressed his pride of the announcement made by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for the new space mission.
His Excellency astonished by the United Arab Emirates the speed progress in the science field managed by the leadership who have no limits to their ambitions, as they advance creative ideas and consolidates a culture of innovation in the young generation.
Al Shaibani said that such a step made after the arrival of the hope probe to the orbit of Mars, confirms firmly that the aspirations of the leadership are always outside the box. It instills a precious value and an important message that investing in people is not a slogan, but rather they have clear vision that is implemented efficiently.
“This project will enhance the scientific development process and consolidate the country’s position in the field of planetary and space exploration. The UAE will be the first Arab country and the fourth country in the world to send a space mission to Venus, in which it holds a strong message that transforming goals into practical and scientific achievements is not a coincidence, but a result of studies and mechanisms that contribute to the benefit of humanity.” Director General concluded.
