General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai: Dr. Hamad Al Shaibani, Director General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, said that the fast-breaking initiatives that adorn these blessed days are among the highest virtues that carry the sincere intention to seek God's pleasure during the blessed month of Ramadan, and we wish success to those who participate in these initiatives, especially those who are stationed on the streets to serve and provide meals to the fasting people. So you see that they are setting out to serve the fasting people instead of resting at home and breaking the fast with their families, and this is nothing but the best sign that the good in our blessed country will inevitably continue until the Doomsday.
Dr. Al-Shaibani added: "In Dubai, during the holy month of Ramadan, many doors of goodness open so that the local community institutions donate what God Almighty has given them from His livelihood, with which they fill the streets and set up their tables in mosques and houses, hoping for the Almighty's bounty, and it is what the noble Messenger, God's prayers and peace be upon him, promised them and gave them the glad tidings when he said: (Whoever gives food to a fasting person will have a reward similar to that of the fasting person, without diminishing the reward of the fasting person in the least). So, I congratulate the believers to whom God Almighty has put the love of kindness in their hearts for the benefit of people, so that they have found the joy of their hearts and the comfort of their hearts by spreading happiness in the hearts of poor Muslims and planting smiles in the faces of their children, they understand very well the greatness of this month and the great reward of charitable giving in this month, and they realize the urgent need to help their poor brothers from the sources of kindness and giving.
