Tuesday, 21 Apr 2020

Al Shafar General Contracting (ASGC Group) supported the community solidarity fund against Covid-19, which was launched by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, by AED 5 million, to support the efforts in mitigating the health, economic and societal repercussions of the Corona virus.

Al Shafar’s contribution exceeds the profit concept to be effective in the society as a matter of social responsibility, in order to make a positive change in the health, social and economic aspects.

The company emphasizes through its support that social responsibility is one of the important pillars of social life and one of the means for the progress of societies. It is an existing partnership between public and private sectors to achieve sustainable development.

Al Shafar’s contribution, as it considered the leading and specialized group in the country’s construction sector, will attract the private sector efforts and unify it to join the social responsibility Marathon to support the Community Solidarity Fund against Covid-19.

The Community Solidarity Fund Against COVID-19 announced by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, IACAD, aims to facilitate community contributions and donations towards combating the coronavirus outbreak under the guidance and directions of the UAE’s leadership.
