The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Establishment made a contribution of AED19 million to support the objectives of the Community Solidarity Fund against Covid-19 initiative, launched by the Islamic Affairs And Charitable Activities Department in Dubai last April. Ibrahim Mohammed Bu Melha, Adviser of the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of MBRCH, said the Establishment’s contribution came from its responsibility towards the Emirates community without regard to color or belief. The "Fund" gives an opportunity to business leaders and leading national institutions to provide a decent life for the human being by collaborating efforts to face the repercussions of this exceptional circumstance. The MBRCH is one of the effective and pioneering institutions in the field of charitable and humanitarian work inside and outside the UAE. The Establishment continues its efforts to support various charitable projects by contributing to the fund to mitigate the health, economic and societal repercussions of the virus to reach all those in need in this current circumstance. Bu Melha stressed the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to provide all forms of support for the initiatives and institutions under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. The Community Solidarity Fund Against COVID-19 announced by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) aims to facilitate community contributions and donations towards combating the coronavirus outbreak. The Fund seeks to forge collaboration with government entities, charity associations and members of society to help mitigate economic, social, and health challenges in the current period. The Community Solidarity Fund Against COVID-19 announced by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, IACAD, aims to facilitate community contributions and donations towards combating the coronavirus outbreak under the guidance and directions of the UAE’s leadership.
