"Children's Tuhfat Al-Atfal Text Memorization Course"

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai is organizing a women’s course for memorizing Matn Tuhfat Al-Atfal as part of the Nibras Program, at the Umm Al Sheif Islamic Cultural Center, under the supervision of instructor Samira Jumaa Al Blooshi. The course aims to master the fundamentals of the science of Tajweed and to correct Qur’an recitation according to a scientific methodology, through the study of the poetic text Tuhfat Al-Atfal by Imam Suleiman Al-Jamzouri. It focuses on the rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween, Meem Sakinah, and Madd (elongation), using a gradual approach that combines theoretical and practical aspects. The course will be held in person for women, from 20 Tuhfat Al-AtfalJanuary to 30 June 2026, at a rate of one hour per week, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., as part of Dubai Islamic Affairs’ efforts to enhance Qur’anic culture and build a sustainable educational environment.
