The “Gheras Summer 2025” program, launched by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) in Dubai, has seen widespread community engagement, with more than 1,700 participants of various age groups registered so far. This strong turnout reflects growing public trust in the department’s educational and awareness initiatives, as well as its pivotal role in instilling values and shaping a generation rooted in its identity and equipped to face future challenges.

403 Quran Circles Enroll 6,787 Students in Dubai in Half a Year… Growing Demand for Maktoum Centers for Quranic Studies

In a significant achievement reflecting the growing interest in Quranic education, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) in Dubai announced the mid-year results for 2025 from the Maktoum Centers for the Quran and its Sciences. The centers successfully organized 403 active Quran study circles, enrolling 6,787 male and female students of various age groups, including 2,803 Emirati nationals. This reflects a clear rise in public trust in the role of these centers in nurturing a generation rooted in Quranic values and national identity.

A donor has paid AED 12,474 in overdue rent on behalf of (Abu Yusuf), who had been facing difficult financial circumstances that prevented him from settling the amount. (Abu Yusuf) expressed his deep gratitude to the donor, praising the generous act and support during such a challenging time. He noted that charitable work is not unfamiliar to the people and residents of the UAE, as it reflects their deeply rooted values.
