A donor pays 12,000 dirhams of late tuition fees for Abu Ammar, in coordination with IACAD and the hotline

A generous donor has paid AED 12,000 in overdue school fees on behalf of "Abu Ammar," who has been struggling with severe financial difficulties that left him unable to cover his son's educational expenses.

Abu Ammar expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the donor for standing by him during this challenging time, emphasizing that such acts of kindness are not unusual among the people of the UAE, who are known for their generosity and support for those in need, both locally and internationally.

The "Hotline" service facilitated coordination between the donor and the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai to ensure the donation was properly transferred to the concerned educational authority.

Earlier, Emarat Al Youm had published Abu Ammar’s story, highlighting his financial struggles.

In his statement to Emarat Al Youm, Abu Ammar explained that his financial situation has worsened considerably, especially after he was forced to take a bank loan to cover overdue rent and avoid homelessness for his family. However, he was unable to repay the debts or cover his son’s school fees. He also shared his fear that his son might be deprived of continuing his education.

He mentioned that his son is academically outstanding, and it is heartbreaking for him to imagine his child losing a school year due to circumstances beyond their control.

Abu Ammar added, "Ammar is currently in Grade 7 at a private school in Sharjah. The school administration has been demanding the payment of AED 12,000 in overdue fees."

He continued, "I am the sole provider for my family of six children and my wife. I work for a company with a salary of AED 6,800, from which only AED 3,100 remains after bank loan deductions—barely enough to cover our basic daily needs."
