Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department is working on its supervisory, which is part of its tasks, in light of local and international regulations and standards, to ensure the progress of charitable projects is going well at the highest levels.
Accordingly, the Department announced the formation of a temporary team called "smart system team” to supervise the "Emirates Charity", headed by Mr. Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Awadi, Project Sponsor, Mr. Ahmed Saeed Bin Sulaiman as Vice President, Project Officer, and the membership of some concerned employees in the Department.
The team has many administrative and technical tasks such as: writing an analysis of the current situation of the projects, looking for the best international practices, doing a standard comparisons between projects, as well as follow-up with the feedback report from Dubai Government Excellence Program to improve the areas in which needed to get better.
The team has to submit, discuss and present periodic reports to the Executive Director of the Charity Sector, and to the Policies and Strategies Council.
The Emirates Charity initiative is the first electronic system in the world that connects charitable associations and foundations under one umbrella using an integrated system as cloud systems and connects them to each other.
