IACAD and Dubai Municipality Discuss Strengthening Cooperation and Integration

His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, received His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghulaita, Acting Director General of Dubai Municipality, at IACAD’s headquarters in Al Mamzar. The visit aimed to enhance institutional cooperation between the two parties and is part of efforts to achieve integration among government entities in Dubai, exchange ideas and experiences, and explore best practices, all of which contribute to improving services provided to the community.

The visit discussed areas of joint cooperation, including mosque and religious facility management, enhancing societal values, and promoting environmental sustainability, which contribute to service development and sustainable growth.

His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi emphasized that the visit reflects the commitment to the visionary leadership’s goal of enhancing effective integration between government entities, particularly in areas such as allocating land for mosques and prayer spaces, as well as several community services.

This integration aims to make it easier for community members to access these services in line with the needs and aspirations of society.

On his part, His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghulaita stressed that integration between various government entities is a key element in driving progress and innovation in Dubai. He pointed out that the municipality, through this cooperation, aims to support IACAD’s efforts in improving mosque infrastructure and developing sustainable environmental solutions. He also emphasized the importance of joint efforts to activate initiatives that raise community awareness on sustainability, aligning with Dubai's vision of building a happier and more sustainable city.
