IACAD Announces Eid Prayer in Mosques and Full Readiness to Receive Worshippers in Over 900 Mosques

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced that Eid Al-Fitr prayers will be held this year in all mosques across the emirate at 6:40 AM, in coordination with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat and the Dubai Resilience Center. The public has been encouraged to head to the nearest mosque to perform the prayer.

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced that Eid Al-Fitr prayers will be held this year in all mosques across the emirate at 6:40 AM, in coordination with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat and the Dubai Resilience Center. The public has been encouraged to head to the nearest mosque to perform the prayer.

The Department explained that this decision comes as part of an integrated framework aimed at enhancing public safety and safeguarding the health of worshippers. Eid prayers will be held across all mosques in Dubai to ensure ease of access and accommodate large numbers. Meanwhile, the “Mu’adhin Al Freej” initiative will continue broadcasting Eid takbeerat and the call to prayer within mosques, reflecting the spirit of the occasion and strengthening the collective atmosphere of faith across the emirate.

IACAD confirmed that it has completed its comprehensive preparations to receive worshippers by equipping mosques and preparing their facilities, in coordination with the Dubai Police to regulate traffic and ensure smooth entry and exit, providing a safe and comfortable experience for all.

His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, extended his highest congratulations and blessings to His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; to His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai; to their fellow Their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates; to His Highness Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence; as well as to the Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, the people of the UAE, and its residents, praying to Almighty God to return this occasion with goodness, prosperity, and blessings for all.

He emphasized that holding Eid prayers in mosques comes in response to national directives and reflects a commitment to the safety of the community. He noted that this organization demonstrates the country’s readiness to manage religious occasions in accordance with the highest safety standards, while also embodying the spirit of social cohesion during this blessed occasion.

IACAD also called on the public to arrive early at mosques, cooperate with the organizing authorities, and participate in this collective act of worship that reflects the values and meanings of Eid. It prayed that the UAE continues to enjoy security, safety, and stability, and that this Eid brings goodness and happiness to all.
