As part of its comprehensive preparations to celebrate Eid al-Fitr for the year 1446 AH, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced its full readiness to hold the Eid prayer across Dubai. This includes the preparation of more than 680 mosques and prayer areas, reflecting IACAD’s commitment to providing a safe and accessible environment for worshippers.
The Eid sermon and prayer will be organized at 14 main prayer areas distributed across vital regions, in addition to 668 smaller mosques in residential neighborhoods, to facilitate access and ease congestion. The Eid al-Fitr prayer will be held at 6:30 AM.
His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi, Director General of IACAD, confirmed that the specialized teams have completed a comprehensive plan covering organizational, logistical, and technical aspects, in coordination with government entities and supported by volunteer teams. This ensures smooth movement, organized entry and exit of worshippers, and provides the necessary support for the elderly and people of determination.
IACAD clarified that the complete list of mosques and prayer areas where the prayer will be held will be available through its official website and social media accounts. It encourages the public to follow the official channels for the latest updates.
In conclusion, IACAD extended its Eid al-Fitr greetings to everyone, asking Allah to return this blessed occasion to the United Arab Emirates, its wise leadership, its generous people, and the entire Muslim nation with goodness, blessings, and peace, in an atmosphere of security, peace, and stability
