As part of its ongoing efforts to promote Islamic culture and reinforce religious values within the community, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) is organizing a series of preaching lessons and educational lectures throughout May 2025. This initiative aims to disseminate Islamic knowledge rooted in moderation and balance, helping community members perform their religious duties in accordance with the correct teachings.
These lessons will be held in several mosques across the emirate, reaffirming the role of mosques as centers of education and awareness. The initiative aligns with the theme of the "Year of the Community," which supports the building of a cohesive society grounded in sound religious knowledge and conscious understanding of Islamic teachings.
The sessions will cover a variety of topics related to faith, behavior, and social matters, including: belief in the divine scriptures, insights from the life of Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), reflections on the supplication for relieving distress and anxiety, excellence in work, the husband's rights over his wife, the humility of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the virtues of Hajj, and the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah — their etiquettes and rulings, among other subjects relevant to individuals and families.
IACAD has placed special emphasis on addressing major acts of worship and rulings related to the Hajj season, given its approaching date and the need to enhance public awareness of this important obligation and its associated rituals.
IACAD invites all members of the community to attend these lessons and benefit from the knowledge shared by a group of esteemed scholars and preachers. For more information on schedules and locations, please visit the Department’s official website or follow its social media accounts.
