In a blessed Quranic achievement, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, represented by the Maktoum Centers for Quran Memorization and its Sciences, honored 14 male and female students who completed the memorization of the Holy Quran. The ceremony took place at Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed Mosque in Al Warqa 1 area.
This celebration marked the culmination of a blessed journey in which the participants remained committed to attending educational sessions at the Maktoum Centers in Dubai. They studied the sciences of Tajweed and Quranic readings under the supervision of a distinguished group of specialists until they completed their memorization with an unbroken chain of narration (Sanad) back to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, driven by high ambition and sincere determination.
This achievement reflects the fruitful collaboration between students and teachers, in line with IACAD’s strategic plan to be closer to the community and in alignment with the leadership’s vision for the “Year of the Community 2025,” by promoting religious values and national identity.
In this context, Dr. Abdullah Abduljabbar, Acting Director of the Maktoum Centers for Quran Memorization and its Sciences, stated that the graduation of this blessed group of male and female memorizers represents a shining milestone in the Quranic journey and reflects IACAD’s ongoing commitment to providing an inspiring educational environment. This environment is based on a solid scientific methodology that contributes to preserving the Quranic heritage and passing it faithfully to future generations.
It is worth noting that the Maktoum Centers for Quran Memorization and its Sciences have continued in recent years to expand the scope of Quran education according to the highest academic and Sharia standards, with the aim of nurturing a Quranic generation that is conscious, proud of its religion and identity, and contributes to serving its community and building the future of its nation
