The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has successfully concluded its religious training course titled "Fiqh of Fasting and Zakat," held at the Mohammed Hassan Al-Sheikh Mosque in the Al-Tawar area. The course was a major success in deepening the understanding of religious worship and raising awareness about the rulings of fasting and zakat.
Over the course of three days, the program featured a distinguished group of scholars who provided comprehensive explanations on the concepts of fasting and zakat based on the Sunnah and approved jurisprudential sources. Sheikh Dr. Saleh Abdulkarim discussed the wisdom behind the obligation of these acts of worship and their impact on a Muslim’s life.
Sheikh Dr. Aziz bin Farhan offered a detailed explanation on the best way to perform zakat, referencing "Kitab Al-Zakat from Bulugh al-Maram". Furthermore, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Abdulqader Al-Kamali enriched the audience with precise juristic knowledge about the correct principles of fasting through his commentary on "Sharh Kitab Al-Siyam from Al-Akhsar Al-Mukhtasarat".
This course is part of the ongoing efforts of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department to enhance religious awareness and spread authentic Islamic culture.
