IACAD launches “Al-Fereej Quran Circles” to support 100 Quran memorization circles under the “Al Fereej Mosques” initiative

In line with its strategic vision “Closer to the Community” and to reinforce the values of communication and religious empowerment in the “Year of Community 2025,” the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department has launched the “Al-Fereej Quran Circles” package. This is one of its new packages under the “Al Fereej Mosques” initiative, aiming to support and sponsor the existing Quran memorization circles in residential neighborhoods, turning them into centers of religious and social influence.

The initiative focuses on supporting more than 100 Quran memorization circles spread across over 40 residential areas in Dubai. It aims to qualify over 1,000 male and female students to memorize parts of the Holy Quran by providing continuous supervision, care, and follow-up, and ensuring a motivating and safe educational environment in every mosque.

IACAD clarified that these efforts stem from its commitment to delivering the message of the Holy Quran to every neighborhood and enhancing the role of mosques as comprehensive religious and social beacons. It confirmed that these memorization circles receive ongoing support from donors and philanthropists to guarantee the sustainability and continuity of this blessed mission.

In this context, Mohammed Jassim Al Mansouri, Director of Customer Service and the initiative’s supervisor, affirmed that “Al-Fereej Quran Circles” is a practical embodiment of the department’s directions to support existing memorization circles and strengthen their role in instilling authentic Islamic values in society. He stated: “We work on supporting and developing the existing Quranic circles to ensure their continuity, improve their quality, and maximize benefits for the youth, thereby enhancing the bonds between the mosque and the neighborhood’s residents, and contributing to building an aware and cohesive Quranic generation.”

He added that the initiative represents an opportunity for donors and benefactors to contribute to supporting and sponsoring these Quranic circles due to their significant impact on society. He called on the public to engage via the department’s official channels to support these blessed efforts.

IACAD opens the door for cooperation and partnership with those wishing to support the initiative through its official channels, confirming that “Al-Fereej Quran Circles” is a genuine investment in both people and society, and a strategic step toward realizing its enduring slogan: “Closer to the Community.”
