IACAD Organizes “100 Future Designers” Program in Collaboration with Dubai Future Foundation

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance future readiness and develop staff competencies, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD), in collaboration with the Dubai Future Foundation, organized the specialized training program “100 Future Designers,” with the participation of a select group of employees from various organizational units.

The program aims to equip participants with advanced future foresight skills, enabling them to analyze and monitor emerging trends at both local and global levels. This initiative supports the development of strategic planning capabilities and the ability to make proactive decisions based on scientific analysis of evolving variables.

“100 Future Designers” is one of the key initiatives aimed at fostering a culture of anticipatory thinking among government employees and designing innovative work models that contribute to achieving the objectives of the Dubai Future Strategy. The program covered a series of practical modules, including: future forecasting tools, signal analysis, scenario building, and exploring global best practices in the field.

In this context, ousha Ahmed Obaid, Acting Director of the Human Resources Department, affirmed that organizing this program aligns with the department’s approach to investing in human capital and empowering staff with the tools necessary for future readiness. She noted that “qualifying talent with future foresight skills is a key pillar in building a government work system capable of keeping pace with challenges and achieving institutional excellence.”

She added, “We are committed to developing advanced training pathways that enhance the readiness of our employees and align with the vision of the Government of Dubai to prepare qualified national leaders capable of anticipating transformations and shaping a sustainable future based on innovation and agility.”

Through such initiatives, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department aims to actively contribute to building an advanced governmental ecosystem that keeps pace with changes and supports Dubai’s journey toward leadership, within the framework of a comprehensive strategic direction focused on future foresight and the application of global best practices in government work.
