As part of its commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for youth—and in support of Dubai Social Agenda 33—the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, in coordination with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), is organizing an educational awareness workshop titled “Red Line” on May 24, 2025. The workshop will be held at the Maktoum Centers for the Holy Quran and Its Sciences in Nad Al Sheba 4 and is targeted at boys aged 7 to 10 years.
The workshop is part of a broader series of educational and awareness initiatives aimed at reducing bullying and raising children’s awareness of the "red lines" related to their mental, physical, and emotional well-being. It will introduce participants to protective strategies against harmful behaviors—particularly bullying—through a simplified, interactive program tailored to their age group.
The initiative seeks to instill essential values in young minds from an early age, such as self-respect, respect for others, safe emotional expression, and understanding of personal rights, all of which contribute to character building and developing a confident generation capable of engaging positively with their school and social environments.
The Department emphasizes that this initiative aligns with its vision of promoting ethical and educational values, and with its societal and educational responsibility to protect children and support their overall well-being. This reflects the wise leadership’s directives to build a safe, cohesive community and raise generations fortified with values and knowledge.
