A delegation from the Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Qur’an Printing Committee in the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai headed by Dr. Omar Muhammad Al-Khatib, Executive Director of the Islamic Affairs Sector and Deputy Chairman of the Qur’an Printing Committee visited the Mohammed bin Rashid Holy Quran Printing center. This visit in order to see the work progress of the Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Qur’an printing plan for the year 2020.
The visiting delegation included Marwan Al-Shehhi, Legal Counselor, Director of the Legal Affairs Department, Ahmed Al Zahed, Acting Director of the Maktoum Centers for Memorizing the Qur’an, and Sami Ahmed, Financial Adviser in IACAD. They had witnessed the stages of printing different sizes of the Quran, in addition to print individual parts of the Qur’an.
One of the objectives of the visit is to see the efforts made by Mohammed bin Rashid Holy Quran Printing center by printing the Quran for all Islamic countries, and limiting the random printing of the Qur’ans. The Center is keen to produce the Quran in high quality according to the latest technical standards, which made it one of the best printing centers in the Middle East.
It is worth mentioning that the Quran of Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum came in implementation of the late Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and desiring to serve the Qur’an at his expense. IACAD is entrusted to this mission in 1995, where elegant printing and the narration of Hafs Bin Asim characterize the Qur’an.
