In an effort to inspire new Muslims and strengthen their spiritual connection, The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, through the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, announced the launch of an innovative competition titled "Let Them Contemplate His Verses." The competition aims to engage new Muslims in a deep and reflective contemplation of the verses of the Qur'an, providing an opportunity to test their knowledge and interaction with the meanings and teachings of Islam. Participants will compete in three levels, with considerations for their various backgrounds and genders, after completing both electronic and oral exams.
Jassim Al-Khazraji, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, emphasized that this competition is a pioneering step to help new Muslims establish a strong and lasting relationship with the Qur'an, enabling them to reflect and meditate on its rich teachings. Al-Khazraji also noted that participants would feel the significance of their role in the Muslim community in an innovative way that encourages self-motivation and fosters a sense of spiritual responsibility.
It is worth mentioning that IACAD places special focus on new Muslims through programs and initiatives that aim to provide a welcoming and supportive environment. These efforts help them build a strong knowledge base in Islamic creed and encourage a deeper and more impactful understanding of the noble Islamic message. Through these initiatives, new Muslims are invited to embark on a journey rich in learning and reflection, so that they can be an integral part of a cohesive community that proudly carries the message of Islam.
