"The Virtues of Islam" lecture from IACAD in Malay

The Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department organized a lecture via Zoom titled "The Virtues of Islam." The lecture was delivered by Mr. Mursaleen Asad, who is regarded as one of the leading speakers in the field of Islamic advocacy and the promotion of Islam's benevolent teachings in the Malay language.

During the lecture, the speaker addressed several topics, including the principles of tolerance and coexistence in Islam, the role of religion in promoting ethics and human values, and the respect for rights and social justice as outlined in Islamic law.

The speaker also highlighted the positive role of Islam in building a cohesive society characterized by cooperation and peace, citing verses from the Holy Quran and Hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad. Additionally, he reviewed the history of Islam in promoting knowledge and education and its significant contribution to human civilization.

At the end of the lecture, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarifications, which fostered an atmosphere of open and constructive dialogue. The lecture was well-received by the attendees, who expressed their appreciation for the efforts made to raise awareness about the true essence of Islam and its noble principles.

This lecture is part of a series of events that the Department aims to organize in order to foster a correct understanding of Islam and promote religious awareness based on the principles of our tolerant faith. It also seeks to emphasize the shared values that advocate for tolerance and coexistence among different cultures and religions.
