IACAD, in collaboration with the Ajman Society of Social & Cultural Development, is organizing a religious lecture titled "Happiness"

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai delivered a religious lecture titled "Happiness" at the Fala Al-Duha Majlis, organized by the Ajman Society of Social & Cultural Development. The lecture was presented by the preacher Suad Zainal Khaja, in the presence of Her Excellency Mona Saqar Al-Matrooshi, Director of the Society, and a gathering of women from the local community in Ajman.

Her Excellency, Mona Saqar Al-Matrooshi, opened the lecture with a welcoming address, praising the role of preacher Suad Zainal Khaja in promoting religious awareness. She discussed the topic of happiness, noting that every individual, regardless of their background, strives to achieve happiness and a comfortable life. Her Excellency emphasized that happiness is a common goal across all social strata, from the uneducated to the educated, and from the powerful to the ordinary. She underscored the importance of understanding the true nature and causes of happiness.

During the lecture, preacher Suad Zainal Khaja discussed various perceptions of happiness, such as accumulating wealth, attaining high positions, having many children, good health, and amusement. She emphasized that none of these perceptions necessarily lead to true happiness and that they may sometimes represent misguided pursuits. She highlighted that genuine happiness lies in faith, righteous deeds, and the certainty of prayer being answered, citing a verse from the Holy Quran: “Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do.”

The lecture witnessed rich discussions from the attendees, who shared their personal feelings and experiences in their search for happiness. At the conclusion of the event, Her Excellency Mona Saqar Al-Matrooshi honored preacher Suad Zainal Khaja with a Certificate of Appreciation, expressing gratitude for her active participation in the Society’s cultural activities.
