IACAD Launches Awareness Program to Prepare Female Government Employees for Hajj 2025

IACAD Launches Awareness Program to Prepare Female Government Employees for Hajj 2025

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has launched a comprehensive awareness program aimed at preparing female staff members involved in Hajj campaigns. This initiative is part of the department’s early preparations for the Hajj season of 1446 AH / 2025 AD and reflects its commitment to enhancing the knowledge and organizational readiness of the female personnel supporting Dubai Government employees on their Hajj journey in 2025. The program aims to empower participants to perform their roles effectively and competently, thereby reflecting the UAE’s civilized image in serving the Guests of Allah.

The program will run from May 19 to May 28, 2025, with sessions held twice a week — Mondays and Wednesdays — at Al Huda Center, affiliated with the department. The sessions will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the option to attend virtually via Microsoft Teams alongside in-person participation. This hybrid format aims to accommodate the circumstances of employees and enhance accessibility and benefit.

Mohammed Musabbah Dhahi, Executive Director of the Charitable Work Sector and Head of the Dubai Government Employees Hajj 2025, confirmed that the program is part of IACAD’s ongoing efforts to prepare female staff through scientific and practical content that contributes to providing an exceptional experience for the pilgrims.

The program covers a range of specialized topics addressing jurisprudential and administrative aspects of Hajj. It is delivered by qualified female muftis and preachers specializing in fatwa and guidance. The curriculum focuses on the specific religious rulings related to women during Hajj, along with a detailed explanation of the rituals and guidance on management and organization during the Hajj period, including time and task management and prioritizing acts of worship.

To ensure maximum interaction and understanding, the department has allocated open discussion and Q&A time at the end of each lecture. All sessions will be recorded and made available for later review, ensuring comprehensive understanding and widespread benefit.

As part of enriching the spiritual dimension of the training experience, the department also announced a concluding lecture on May 30 titled “The Impact of Hajj on Self-Discipline”, which will highlight the behavioral and value-based aspects associated with performing the pilgrimage and showcase Hajj as an opportunity for self-development and moral refinement.
