Continuing the success of the "Ayal Al-Freej" initiative, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced the launch of the sub-initiative "Fitrah Ayal Al-Freej." The initiative aims to revive the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) regarding the payment of Zakat Al-Fitr and introduce children to the concept through a direct hands-on experience, with the participation of specialized counselors and supervisors.

His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi, Director-General of IACAD, stated that this initiative comes in response to the large turnout that "Ayal Al-Freej" has witnessed since the beginning of Ramadan. He emphasized that "Fitrah Ayal Al-Freej" represents an additional step to further strengthen children's connection with mosques and Islamic culture through practical educational methods.

He said, "We are keen in IACAD to instill Islamic values in the hearts of the younger generations using innovative approaches. Through the 'Fitrah Ayal Al-Freej' initiative, we provide children with the opportunity to learn about the concept of Zakat and its importance in a practical way, under the supervision of specialized counselors who explain the religious rules related to Zakat Al-Fitr."

He clarified that the initiative will run from the 20th to the 28th of Ramadan, with one mosque being designated each day to receive children and teach them how to pay Zakat, aiming to reach the largest possible number of participants and achieve the desired positive impact by spreading religious awareness in a field-based manner that aligns with the community's needs.

"Fitrah Ayal Al-Freej" is considered a valuable addition to IACAD’s initiatives during Ramadan, as it helps teach children Islamic values in a practical and interactive way. It also enhances the role of mosques as educational and awareness centers, supporting IACAD’s vision of building a generation aware of its religious and social values.
