IACAD Organizes Workshops for Schools at the Sustainable Knowledge Room

In line with the twinning agreement between the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, the department organized educational workshops for the School of Scientific Creativity at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture.

In line with the twinning agreement between the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, the department organized educational workshops for the School of Scientific Creativity at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture. The workshops took place in the Sustainable Knowledge Room as part of the school activities program aimed at promoting religious values and the traditions of the United Arab Emirates. The visit included various activities such as a lecture on the importance of the Sunnah, an interactive explanation of the rites of Umrah, and educational competitions in Islamic culture conducted by the Youth Vision Council for students.

Commenting on the visit, Jassim Mohammed Al-Khazraji, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, stated that these educational and interactive workshops at the center are a strategic step to enhance religious and cultural values within the school community. He highlighted that the department's aim through these activities is to provide a rich educational experience that goes beyond classroom boundaries, fostering a knowledgeable generation well-versed in authentic Islamic values. He emphasized that education is not merely the transfer of knowledge but a comprehensive process that involves shaping students' characters and developing their abilities, and that such visits are significant in strengthening the ties between schools and cultural centers.

On his part, Ibrahim Al-Mansoori, Head of the Religious Guidance Department at the Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, affirmed that organizing field visits for schools is part of the department's ongoing efforts to raise religious awareness and deepen students' understanding of the principles of our faith. He confirmed the department’s commitment to achieving common goals with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, which contributes to enhancing cultural and religious awareness among future generations.

Al-Mansoori added that the department is keen on providing educational content that contributes to the refinement of souls and employs interactive methods to promote a culture of innovation and excellence, benefiting future generations. The students expressed their great happiness with the visit, thanking the center’s management for the warm reception and the efforts made in delivering exceptional religious content.
