Muftis and preachers at the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai: The fact that some people are terrified and alarmed by the Corona virus is “not justified”, calling to follow the instructions and directions recommended by the government to preserve health.

Dr. Ahmad Al-Haddad, Grand Mufti and Director of Fatwa Department at IACAD, stressed that the origin of the quarantine is what came in the hadith of the Prophet, that if a person strikes something from infectious diseases, he should avoid contact with others, in order to preserve their health, and in the interest of their safety.

Al-Haddad said, "What people are experiencing in these days of panic and anxiety from the Corona virus is not really justified, and we must follow the instructions issued by the government, which takes great care to protect human health."

For his part, Khaled Ismail, a preacher in IACAD, said, "People are worried these days because of the Corona virus, we must take the reasons for prevention, because it is better than treatment."

Al-Haddad added: "Our government is keen on the safety of the people of the country, citizens and residents, and therefore issued its instructions and advice to avoid crowds and public gatherings, disrupt the study, and shorten the time of Friday sermon."

The preacher assured that preserving health is one of the blessings that Allah Almighty has granted us, and it is necessary to preserve and maintain it.
